A study of more than 300 poems written by young people aged 10 to 21 challenges the idea that Generation Z is defined only by anxiety and uncertainty. Sean Murphy, founder of 1455 Storytelling Arts, found that while young writers explored loneliness, grief and social challenges, many also expressed resilience, empathy and determination. Their poetry reveals a generation confronting difficulties honestly while still imagining hope, connection and a better future.
