Karnataka launches year-long drive to train 65,000 teachers for bilingual classrooms

The Karnataka Directorate of State Educational Research and Training (DSERT), in collaboration with the Regional Institute of English, South India (RIESI), has launched a year-long initiative to strengthen bilingual education in government schools. The programme will train nearly 65,000 teachers through workshops, mentoring and continuous academic support, beginning with 389 District Resource Team members.
