How NEET-UG 2026 re-exam placed candidate welfare at the centre of exam planning

The National Testing Agency has detailed the candidate-centric measures introduced for the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination held on June 21. Alongside enhanced security arrangements, the agency highlighted facilities such as clean drinking water, medical assistance, transparent water bottles, black ballpoint pens, additional examination time, redesigned question booklets, wall clocks and Tele-MANAS mental health support. The re-examination was conducted for more than 20 lakh candidates across 5,440 centres in India and 14 overseas centres.
