Delhi HC asks Centre to act against the mushrooming of fake higher education institutions

The Delhi High Court urged the Centre to act against the growing number of fake higher education institutions, calling it a serious issue that wastes students’ time, money and careers. Hearing a PIL, the court sought affidavits from the Centre, UGC, AICTE and Delhi government on measures taken to curb fake universities and investigate their operations.
